Sacramental Programme
"For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them" Matthew 18:20
Our Sacramental Programme is for children in Year Three who have been baptised Catholic. The childrenβs sacramental journey is an integral part of developing their religious education and their understanding of their faith life. Over the course of the year, our children will delve deeper into their faith, exploring its personal significance as they take the next steps on their faith journey. This journey includes the Sacrament of Reconciliation, commonly known as First Forgiveness, and the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Those children in our Year 3 class who have not been baptised Catholic will be given opportunities throughout the year to support their friends.
Children who wish to participate in the Sacramental Programme, led by the Church and supported by school, will be invited to do so early on in the year. The programme is led by our churchβs βfaith friendsβ (Trish, Janet and Anne) and is fully supported by school staff.
"Stay with us Lord, on our journey.β
